Dr. Bill McCaskill, 78, of Columbia, Mo., formerly of Kennett and Caruthersville, Mo.

Born May 19, 1929, in Cardwell, Mo., son of the late David and Connie Burcham McCaskill, he graduated from the Southern College of Optometry and was an optometrist.

In 1961, in Kansas City, Mo., he married Beverly June Shupert, who preceded him in death.

Survivors include one son, Mark McCaskill and wife, Janet, of Columbia and one sister, Jeanette Hobbs, of Jefferson City, Mo.

No visitation planned

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 21, in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett with Johnny Hester officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Heart Association.
