Jay Henson, Jr.

Jay Dee Henson, Jr., 48, of Clarkton, Mo., died Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born Dec. 19, 1958, in St. Louis, Mo., he was the son of the late Jay Dee and Mary Virginia Sanders Henson.

On July 3, 2004, in White Oak, Mo., he married Martha Henson, who survives.

Survivors also include one step-son, David Lee Bailey, of Clarkton; three brothers, Steve Henson, of Paragould, Ark., and David and Mike Henson, both of Caruthersville, Mo.; five sisters, Liz Christinson, Janet Henson, Rosemary Barnett and Brenda Gibson, all of Caruthersville and Patricia Henson, of Potosi, Mo., and one step-grandchild, Rayanna Bailey, of Clarkton.

Graveside services were held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, July 13, in the Gregory Cemetery at Kennett with the Rev. Ron Dunavin officiating.

John W. German Funeral Home in Hayti, Mo., was in charge of arrangements.
