Born Jan. 3, 1938, in Truman, Ark., son of the late Robert E. Lee and Ruby Augustine Rollins Parker, he was a U.S. Navy veteran and former police chief of Risco.
On June 15, 1959, in Tulot, Ark., he married Edna Ruthie May Maclin, who survives.
Survivors also include four sons, Robert Parker, of Marion, Ark., David Parker, of Norfork, Ark., Donald Parker, of Campbell, Mo., and Randall Parker, of Pontiac, Mich.; three daughters, Mary Landers, of Risco, Libby Wilson, of Catron, Mo., and Ruth Matlock, of Bell City, Mo.; one brother, Alfred Parker, of Sawyer, Mich.; two sisters, Dorothy Vonruedisch, of Fisk, Mo., and Florence Monehan, of Dexter, Mo., 19 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, G.R., Jimmy and Jesse Parker; one sister, Mary Louise King and three grandchildren, Donald Parker, Jr., Megan Landers and Jordan Parker.
Visitation will be begin at 6 p.m., today, Tuesday, July 17, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 18, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Blagg officiating.
Burial will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery at Malden.
