Persers celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Purser of Senath, Mo., celebrated their 50th year of marriage on May, 24, 2007. The couple also attended Mr. Purser's 50th year class reunion on June 30, 2007 at New Madrid. Mr. Purser is the pastor at The Greater Life UPC church in Arbyrd, Mo. Mrs. Purser is a retired Registered Nurse. They have three children including Derek Purser and Tracy Cochran of Murphysboro, Tenn., and Patrick Purser of Paragould, Ark.
