Betty Ray Fox

Betty Ray Fox, 65, of Clarksville, Ark., died Thursday, July 5, 2007, at Sparks Regional Hospital in Arkansas.

Born Jan. 23, 1942 in Dickson County, Tenn., daughter of the late Raymond A. and Mary Cooksey Berry, she was an elementary school teacher for the Kennett public school system and was a member of the Hilltop Bible Church in Clarksville.

Survivors include her husband Billy G. Fox of Clarksville; three sons, Matthew Fox and wife, Shary, of Kirkville, Mo., John W. Fox and wife, Dawn, of St. Petersburg, Fl., and Jesse D. Fox of Kirksville; two daughters, Regina M. Mason and husband, Alvin, of Clarksville, Holly R. Carter and husband, David, of Nashville, Tenn.; one brother, Bill Berry and wife, Emily, of Vanleer, Tenn.; one sister, Linda Reynolds and husband, Stan, of Dickson, Tenn; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Kent Fox.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, July 9, 2007, at the Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Billy G. Fox officiating. Interment was in the Vanleer Cemetery in Dickson County.
