Christopher DeWayne Russom, 22, of Hayti, Mo., died Sunday, July 1, 2007, in Dunklin County, Mo.

Born Aug. 20, 1984, in Hayti, son of Terry Walker and Lateshia Ann Russom, of Kennett, he attended school in Wardell and worked on a farm.

Survivors also include his fiancé, Shelon Skelton, of Kennett; one sister, April Leann Russom, of Hayti; a half-brother, Michael Sweat and wife, Casey, of Caruthersville, Mo.; grandfather, J.W. Russom, of Hayti and grandmother, Dorsie Walker, of Pascola, Mo.

He was preceded in death his grandmother, Almeta Russom and his grandfather, Bub Walker.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 5, at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with Sister Florence Staggs officiating.

Burial was in the Dry Bayou Cemetery at Hayti.

Pallbearers were Matt and Dennis Rudd, Jeremy Cheramie, Greg Duffy, T.J. McCulloch, Robert Pierce, Terry Skelton and Chris Garner.
