Born March 20, 1927, in Alix, Ark., son of the late Joe and Inez Dillsaver Goss, he was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired construction worker.
Survivors include one son, Michael James Goss, of Florida; one daughter, Annette Goss, of Flint; one brother, Eldon H. Criswell, of Houston, Texas, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Bobby Joe and Butch Goss; one daughter, Jamie Darlene Goss; five brothers, Clovis, George, Harlen, Junior and Lannie Goss and three sisters, Agnes Patterson, Grace Turner and Jessie Gun.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, July 6, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Campbell with the Rev. Bill Hanners officiating.
Burial was in the Piggott Cemetery at Piggott, Ark.
