Colleen Reid, 82, of Kennett, died Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at the Heritage Nursing Center in Kennett.

Born March 24, 1925, in Kennett, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Carmen Mitchell Banister.

In 1946, she married William "Bill" Reid, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Fred Banister.

Survivors include two brothers, Bill Banister, of LaFerria, Texas and Tom Banister, of Osceola, Ark., and one sister, Carolyn Wilks, of Osceola.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., today, Thursday, July 5, in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett with the Rev. Ed Jansson officiating.

McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett was in charge of arrangements.
