Dave Wesley Cranford III, 67, of Hayti, Mo., died Sunday, June 24, 2007, at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti.
Born Feb. 24, 1940, in Braggadocio, Mo., son of the late D.W. and Bethel Jane Byers Cranford, he was a farmer.
On Jan. 7, 1959, in Kennett, he married Henrietta Reed, who survives.
Survivors also include, three daughters, Debbie VanAusdall and husband, Steve, of Caruthersville, Mo., Roxanne Chailland, of Kennett and Rhonda Tinkle, of Braggadocio; one sister, Jane Jordan and husband, Charlie, of Hattiesburg, Miss.; eight grandchildren, Jonathan Cross, Leah McFall, Richard Chailland, Luke and Krissy VanAusdall, Tana Whatley, Dink Tinkle and Jace Shaver and three great-grandchildren, Haden Whatley and Allie and Xaine Cross.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 27, at the John W. German Funeral Home chapel in Hayti with Bro. Doug Wahls officiating.
Burial was in the Maple Cemetery at Caruthersville.
Pallbearers were John Michael Bailey, Josh Driskill, Tim Gordon, Michael Hazel II, Chase Hopkins, Brandon and Brian Irions, Randall Scott and Don Tinkle.
Honorary pallbearers were Dewey Bennett, Gary Bruton, James Shirley Bruton, Max Bryant, Larry Dudney, Kyle Hefler, Bobby Irions, Mickey Lewis, Dennis Phillips, Martin Ray, Ralph Sides, Max Wallace, Jr., and Jimmy Bullington.
