Helen Virginia Hall, 82, of Hayti, Mo., died June 24, 2007, at Cumbernauld Village in Winfield, Kan.
Born June 29, 1924, in Bragg City, Mo., daughter of the late George and Ada Dickey, she was a homemaker, owner/operator of Globe Shoe Store in Hayti and a member of the Hayti Methodist Church.
On March 5, 1939, in Portageville, Mo., she married Bennie hack Hall, who preceded her in death on Dec. 16, 1976.
Survivors include three children, Ada Nell Powell and husband, Carter "Nick", of Winfield, Virginia Lee Hargrove, of Bella Vista, Ark., and Bennie Jack Hall, Jr., and wife, Terri, of Hayti; one sister, RosaLee Brassfield, of Tumbling Shoals, Ark.; one brother, Gene Dickey and wife, Eileen, of Springdale, Ark.; one half-brother, Larry Steward and wife, Mary Jane, of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; four grandchildren, Ron Cecil, of Everett, Wash., Steve Hargrove, of Lacochee, Fla., Perry Hargrove, of Tunica, Miss., and Amber Gobea, of Hayti and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 28, in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti with Dr. Paul Currie officiating.
John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti was in charge of arrangements.
