Eugene Farmer, 55, of Bragg City, Mo., died Monday, June 11, 2007, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born April 30, 1952, in Duckhill, Miss., son of Ardella Oliver Farmer and the late George Farmer, he was a concrete finisher and a member of the Community Temple Community Church of God In Christ .
Survivors include five sons, Derrick Farmer, of Kansas City, Mo., Jeffrey and Terrill Farmer, both of Kennett, Travis Johnson, of San Diego, Calif., and Cyrus Lemons, of Hermandale, Mo.; two daughters, Alethia Harrell, of Kennett and Toshia Farmer-Smith, of Houston, Texas; his mother, Ardella Farmer, of Kennett; four brothers, Leejo Farmer, of Las Vegas, Nev., and Charles "Linbyrd" and Gore and Fred Farmer, all of Muskegon, Mich.; two sisters, Carolyn Holmes, of Grenada, Miss., and Nancy Cooperwood, of Chicago, Ill., and 23 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Curtis Farmer.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Friday, June 15, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 16, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers are Sydney Denham, Bill Heinen, David Parker, David Allen and Ed and Jewell McKinney.
Honorary pallbearers are Leroy White and Donald McClinton.
