Maria Guadalupe Guerra Arjona, 65, of Holcomb, Mo., died Thursday, June 7, 2007, at Holcomb.
Born July 3, 1942, in Reynosa, Mexico, she was the daughter of the late Guadalupe and Josefa Ramirez Guerra.
On April 16, 1958, in Rio Bravo, Mexico, she married Jose Arjona, who survives.
Survivors also include seven sons, Rolando Arjona and wife, Nora, of Weslaco, Texas, Juan Arjona and wife, San Juana Villarreal and J. Guadalupe Arjona and wife, Bertha, all of Rio Bravo, Andres Arjona and wife, Maria A., and Jamie Gonzalez and wife, Obdulia, all of Clarkton, Mo., and Eduardo Arjona and wife, Sandra and Jesus Arjona and wife, Laura, all of Holcomb; four daughters, Yolunda Sanchez and husband, Antonio, of Rio Bravo, Rosa Garcia and husband, Aturo, Lupita Arjona and Alma Gonzalez and husband, Angel, all of Holcomb; one brother, Ruven Guerra; four sisters, Santos Gomes, Victorial Gutierrez and Juana Guerra, all of Weslaco and Rosa Guerra, of Rio Bravo; 30 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m., Friday, June 8 to 11 a.m., Saturday, June 9, at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 9, at the St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Allen Saunders officiating.
McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
