Curtis A. Boyd, 38, died Sunday, May 27, 2007, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville, Ark.
Born July 10, 1968, in Hayti, Mo., son of the late Otis Dinwiddle and Bertha Halliburton, he was employed at Davita Renal Care and was a member of the New Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Olandis Boyd and wife, Gloria, of Steele, Mo., and Del Byrd, Sr., of Caruthersville, Mo., and five sisters, Nancy Whitfield and Samantha Williams, both of Caruthersville, Mo., Bertha Johnson and husband, Arel, and Sharon Halliburton, all of Kennett and Janis Halliburton, of Dyersburg, Tenn.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, June 3, at the New Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Eddie Echols officiating.
Burial was in the Morgan Ridge Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Del Byrd, Sr., Beronica and Michael Lewis, Alandis Boyd, Tony Primer, Ricky Rodgers and Jerry Warren.
Honorary pallbearers were Jeremy Williams, Torrell, Quinton and Courtney Boyd, Leon Walls, Jr., and Del Byrd, Jr.
H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville was in charge of arrangements.
