Edgker Doyle Martin, 68, of Kennett, formerly of Senath, Mo., died Monday, May 28, 2007, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born Nov. 21, 1938, in Eufaula, Okla., son of the late O.W. and Floy Etchel Flood Martin, he was a farm laborer.
On July 8, 1971, in Paragould, Ark., he married Pearl Beth Haywood, who survives.
Survivors also include three sons, Roger Burkholder, of Paducah, Ky., Greg Todd, of Moab, Utah and Donald Todd, of Springfield, Mo.; three daughters, Pam Chappinelli, of Springfield, Candy Wirsching, of Mabank, Texas and Teresa Hufford, of Senath; two brothers, Bob Martin, of Senath and Ernest Martin, of Wichita, Kan.; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Martin; four brothers, Jack, Jerry, Arley and Bill Martin and two sisters, Wandeana Dunegan and Maxine Pender.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 31, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Troy Alley officiating.
Burial was in the Senath Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Larry Wayne Ragland, Stevie Odle, Bill Anderson, Jerry Hufford, David Sheppard, Rick Trainer, Billy Martin, Jr., and Robert Williams.
