James Earl Taylor, 76, of Holcomb, Mo., died Saturday, June 2, 2007, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Ark.
Born Aug. 7, 1930, in Biggers, Ark., son of the late Raymond and Katie Todd Taylor, he was a farm laborer and of the Assembly of God faith.
On Oct. 16, 1950, in Piggott, he married Olevia Taylor, who survives.
Survivor also include one son Herman Taylor and wife, Lorrie, of Holcomb; one daughter, Wanda Bolin and husband, Danny, of Clarkton, Mo.; five grandchildren, Darian and Suzana Long, Emma Huckelberry, Jason Bolin and Herman Taylor, Jr. and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Long and one sister, Novella Miller.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 5, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett.
Burial was in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton.
