JoAnn Singleton, 70, of Fredericktown, Mo., died Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at her residence.
Born Sept. 18, 1936, in Kennett, daughter of the late Vander Eason and Delpha Jane Thompson Harris, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fredericktown.
On Nov. 26, 1960, in Senath, Mo., she married W.R. Singleton, who survives.
Survivors also include one son, John Singleton, of Fredericktown; one daughter, Catherine Singleton, of Fairfield, Ill.; one brother, Donald E. Harris, of Tulsa, Okla.; one sister, Mary Sue Slinkard, of Senath and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Elenora Harris, Jessie Buck and Imogene Jones and two brothers, Buford and Winston Harris.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 2, at the First Baptist Church in Fredericktown with pastors Tom Johnson and Charles Buck officiating.
Burial was June 3 at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Bud Branum, Jerry Graham, Jim Henson, Wendell Moore, Harol Rowe and Dale Sikes.
Follis Funeral Home of Fredericktown was in charge of arrangements.
