Brenda Joyce Wey, 63, of Sikeston, Mo., died Sunday, June 3, 2007, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born March 20, 1944, in Campbell, Mo., daughter of the late Almus and Elnor Juanita Cashion Truman, she was owner/operator of Sourthern Aire Beauty Salon in Sikeston, and a member of New Beginnings Fellowship in Sikeston.
On April 13, 2003, in Sikeston, she married Robert D. Wey, who survives.
Survivors include two sons, Darrell Thacker, of Clarkton, Mo., and Michael Huckelbery, of Kennett; two daughters, Leslie Jo Morgan, of Campbell, Mo., and Tina Wiggins, of Sikeston; one brother, Jerry Hicks, of BonTerre, MO.; two sisters, Betty Farmer, of St. Peters, No., and Debra Kerperien, of Republic, Mo., and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Tuesday, June 5, at the Nunnelee Funeral Home Chapel at Sikeston and a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. with Rick Rogers officiating.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 7, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell with the Rev. Bill Martin officiating.
Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Campbell.
Pallbearers are Dale Hanners, Harold James Hanners, Randy Farmer, Tony Lacky, Jerry Wayne Hicks and Tony Kerperien.
