Savannah Beaird. 89, of Malden, Mo., died Saturday, May 26, 2007, at her residence.
Born Feb. 18, 1918, in Blytheville, Ark., daughter of the late Reddick and Nettie Davis, she was a member of the Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.
She married Eddie Ross, who preceded her in death and she later married Alfred Beaird, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Ruby T. Allen and Marie Williams; one brother, Roosevelt Davis; two sisters, Mary and Rosie Davis; two great-grandchildren, Jimmy Williams and Keyante Ross and a sister-in-law, Katherine Davis.
Survivors include three sons, Melvin Ross, of Malden and Robert and Alvin Ross, both of Hammond, Ind.; 31 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren and 45 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, June 2, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at noon, Saturday, June 2, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mitcheal Chandler officiating.
Burial will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery.
