Jackie Ray Gray, 60, of Steele, Mo., died Saturday, May 26, 2007, at his residence.
Born March 16, 1947, in McNary County, Tenn., son of J.R. Gray and Lucille Haynes Lawhorn, he was a truck driver.
On July 30, 1983, in Caruthersville, Mo., he married Shirley Gray, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons, Jackie Beau Gray, Jr., of Steele and Chad Gray, of Blytheville, Ark.; two daughters, Tammy Rheubidoux, of Highridge, Mo., and Ladonna Ray, of Steele; one brother, Terry Allen Gray, of St. Louis, Mo.; three sisters, Sheila Coffey, of Farmington, Mo., Patricia Crawford, of Steele and Teresa Lawhorn, of St. Louis and five grandchildren, Michaela and Kelsey Gray, Ashley Osborne, Kara Rheubidoux and Alyssa Ray.
He was preceded in death by one son, Earnest Ray and one grandson, Markie Rheubidoux.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, May 28, at the Powell Funeral Home in Steele with the Rev. Charles Faught officiating.
Burial was in the M. Zion Cemetery.
