Edgker Doyle Martin, 68, of Kennett, formerly of Senath, Mo., died Monday, May 28, 2007, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center.
Born Nov. 21, 1938, in Eufaula, Okla., son of the late O.W. and Floy Etchel Flood Martin, he was a farm laborer.
On July 8, 1971, in Paragould, Ark., he married Pearl Beth Haywood, who survives.
Survivors also include three sons, Roger Burkholder, of Paducah, Ky., Greg Todd, of Moab, Utah and Donald Todd, of Springfield, Mo.; three daughters, Teresa Hufford, of Senath, Candy Wirsching, of Mabank, Texas and Pam Chappinelli, of Springfield; two brothers, Bob Martin, of Senath and Ernest Martin, of Wichita, Kan.; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Martin; four brothers, Jack, Jerry, Arley and Bill martin and two sisters, Wandeana Dunegan and Maxine Pender.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Wednesday, May 30, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 31, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jamie Grisham officiating.
Burial will follow in the Senath Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
