Billy Crawford, 78, of Kennett, died Friday, May 18, 2007, at Heritage Nursing Center in Kennett.
Born June 7, 1928, in Kennett, he was the son of the late Millard and Maude Williams Crawford.
Survivors include six sons, Gary Crawford, of Wappapello, Mo., Danny, Billy and Randy Crawford, all of Kennett, Steve Crawford, of Paragould, Ark., and Donnie Crawford, of Ironton, Mo.; three daughters, Sharon Kirby, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Joan Odom, of Kennett and Beverly Banks, of Paragould; a step-daughter, Diane; one brother, Jim Crawford, of Wappapello; one sister, Juanita Hendrix, of House Springs, Mo.; six half-brothers, Gerald Crawford, of Batesville, Ark., Jerry Crawford, of Osceola, Ark., Mick , Jack and Tony Crawford, all of Kennett and Lannie Crawford, of Mountain, Grove, Mo.; two half-sisters, Sandra Niermeyer, of St. Cloud, Fla., and Judy Holt, of Kennett; ex-wife, Myrene; 20 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a brother and sister in infancy; step-mother, Lillie Crawford; a half-brother, Ricky Crawford and a half-sister, Betsy Grigsby.
Visitation was held Sunday, May 20, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett.
