Charles White
Charles Cleveland White, 70, of Malden, Mo., died Saturday, May 19, 2007, at Golden Living Center in Malden.

Born Nov. 9, 1936, in Cardwell, Mo., daughter of the late John Burnest and Christine Higginbotham White, he was a U.S. veteran and a member of the Second General Baptist Church in Malden.

On July 30, 1958, in Malden, he married Linda Gale Matthews, who survives.

Survivors also include one daughter, Gayla Smith and husband, Greg, of Benton, Ark.; step-mother, Maye White, of Cardwell, Mo.; a step-brother, Larry White, of Wentzville, Mo.; a step-sister, Pat Bayer, of Bolivar, Mo.; one granddaughter, Gregielle Smith, of Benton and one grandson, Gunnar Smith, of Benton.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby James and Darrell White.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., today, Tuesday, May 22, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Malden with the Rev. James Gore officiating.

Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
