Frankie Lee Gooden, 50, of Hayti, Mo., died Thursday, May 10, 2007, at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti.
Born Sept. 26, 1956, in Portageville, Mo., son of J.B. and Vella Peterson Gooden, he was employed at Helena Chemical in Hayti.
On Nov. 5, 1975, in Hayti, he married Evelynn Marie Hackett, who survives.
Survivors also include 10 daughters, Frankie Lashun Gooden Black, and husband, Marcus, of Chicago, Ill., Colandra Moore, of Atlanta, Ga., Lakesia Gooden, of Howardville, Mo., Grashus Ellis, of Columbia, Mo., and Sharita, Felica, Miyaka, Shanika, DeAnna and Shayla Gorman, all of Hayti; one son, Aaron Gorman, of Hayti; two step-sons, Fredrick Hackett, of Denver, Colo., and Benjie Hackett, of Chicago; his father, J.B. Gooden, Sr. and mother, Vella Gooden, of Hayti; three brothers, Jimmy Gooden and wife, Rhonda, of Osceola, Mo., J.B. Gooden, Jr., of Jefferson City, Mo., and Robert Gooden, of Hayti; three sisters, Connie Robinson and Dovie Gooden, both of Columbia and Delores Hilton, of Hayti and 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Mark Anthony Gooden.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon, Friday, May 18, at the Faith Temple Church of God in Christ.
Funeral services will be held at noon at the Faith Temple Church of God in Christ with Pastor Tommie Allen officiating.
Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery at Hayti.
Pallbearers are Anthony Abbott, Tally, Ricky and Donald Borders, Charles Lloyd and Walter Jones, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Greenwell, David Inman, Ryan Holder, Chris Riggs, Paul Shechell and Johnny Stegall.
