Phillip and Tressa Clariday of Lenoir City, Tenn., announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Kathleen Clariday, to Patrick Stephen Blankenship, son of Randy and Dana Blankenship of Cardwell, Mo.

The bride to be is the granddaughter of Jack and Clariday and the late Mary Clariday of Mount Juliet, Tenn., and the late Robert and Mary Woodman of Stockbridge, Mich.

She is a 2000 graduate of Lenoir City High School and a 2004 graduate of Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tenn., where she received a bachelor of science in biology. She plans to graduate from the University of Tennessee School of Pharmacy in 2008.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Bladen and Jewell Mabrey, Jo Langdon and the late Carl Blankenship all of Cardwell.

He is a 2001 graduate of Senath-Hornersville High School and a 2005 graduate of Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Ark., where he received a bachelor of art in chemistry. He plans to graduate from the University of Tennessee School of Pharmacy in 2009.

The wedding will take place May 26, 2007 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Lenoir City., where the couple plan to reside.
