Felicia Griggs of Rives, Mo. announces the birth of her son, Jaxyn Eli Scott Griggs, born Jan. 31, 2007, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.

He weighed 6 pounds and 8 ounces and was 20 inches long.

He is the grandson of Keith Scott and Melissa Kennedy of Rives and Steve and Becky Griggs of Holland, Mo.
