Robert Latham

Robert Gipson Latham, 89, of Houlka, Miss., died Monday, May 7, 2007, at his residence.

Born July 3, 1917, in Centerhill, Miss., son of the late Henry and Ida Bell Tunney Latham, he was a U.S. Army-Air Force veteran, having served in WWII. He was employed at Colt Industries and was of the Catholic faith.

He married Patsy Stanford Swilley, who survives of the home.

Survivors also include three step-daughters, Diane Cobb, of Franklin, Tenn., Debbie Hunter, of Atlanta, Ga., and Anita Brown, of Hazelgreen, Ala.; one step-son, Terry Swilley, of Dermott, Ark.; seven step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Wednesday, May 9, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 10, in the Mounds Park Cemetery at Lilburn, Mo.
