Ruth Watson, 89, of Malden, Mo., died Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at Golden Living Nursing Center at Malden.
Born Oct. 6, 1917, in Risco, Mo., daughter of the late Samuel T. and Alice Wimberly Pittman, she was a homemaker, a member of the United Methodist Church in Malden and a member of the DeReign Club.
On Jan. 31, 1938, in Piggott, Ark., she married Hank Watson, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include one son, Jim Watson and wife, Pat, of Malden; one brother, Chalmer Brownie Pittman, of Van Buren, Ark.; two grandsons, Bret Watson, of O'Fallon, Mo., and Brad Watson, of Springfield, Mo., and one great-granddaughter, Caroline Elizabeth Watson, of O'Fallon.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Thursday, May 10, at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, May 10, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with Bob McNabb officiating.
