Lydia Rene Luereine Wood, 89, of Paragould, Ark., died Friday, May 4, 2007 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center.

Born March 28, 1918, daughter of the late Alford Grover and Gertrude Sophia Fritts McFeeters, she was a homemaker and of Baptist faith.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Cude and husband, Kenneth, Sr., of Kennett, and Jannette Carroll Smith, of Pensacola, Fla; two brothers, Jack McFeeters, of Atoka, Okla., and Eugene McFeeters, of Versailles, Mo.; two sisters, Zena Watson, of Eugene, Ore., and Jill Jones of Stockton, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Wayne Wood.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., today, Tuesday, May 8, at the Heath Colonial Chapel in Paragould with the Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating.

Burial was in the Cardwell Cemetery at Cardwell, Mo..

Pallbearers were Truitt Dowdy, Cory Allen, Michael Wood, Jared Cude, Kenneth Cude, Jr. and Ryan C. Wood.

Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis.
