Born Jan. 4, 1927, in Old Glaze, Ark., he was the son of the late Doc Grady and Ida Ratlift Lovelace and was a U.S. military veteran.
On August 2, 1990, in Malden, he married Wilma Faye Richmond, who survives the home.
Other survivors include a son, Benny Lovelace, of Memphis, Tenn.; two step-sons, Jackie and Chris Nalley, both of Malden; one brother, Donald J. Lovelace, of Elsberry, Mo.; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death three brothers, Doc, Ralph and Floyd Lovelace, and a sister, Lucille Matthews.
Visitation will begin at noon, Monday, May, 7, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home at Malden, with services scheduled to follow at 1:30 p.m., in the Bradshaw Chapel, with Rev. Richard Blagg officiating.
Burial will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo., with military rites.
