She married Joe H. Scott and returned to Kennett to live.
She worked several years at Dunklin County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Kennett.
After moving to Poplar Bluff, Mo., she married Richard Trinkler and retired from nursing at the VA Hospital in Poplar Bluff.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Greg (Jane Scott) Black, of Williams Town, W.A.; granddaughter, Leiah Sedlecky and husband Dan and great-grandson, Greg Sedlecky, of Naperville, Ill.; grandson, Franklin Kent Hamra and wife, Patricia, and great-grandson, Spencer Hamra, of Keller, Texas; one brother, Gerald Wright, of Wasco, Calif., and other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Hattie Alice and Louise Ingram.
Visitation will be from noon to service time, Saturday, May 5, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Senath.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 5, in the Lulu Cemetery at Senath.
