Cecil Moss, 87, of Kennett, died Saturday, April 21, 2007, at National HealthCare in Kennett.

Born Oct. 5, 1919, in Steele, Mo., son of the late Theodore and Leda Mae Kenley Moss, he was a farmer.

On Oct. 6, 1937, in Blytheville, Ark., he married Lenore Bradfield, who survives.

Survivors also include two sons, Charles Moss, of Caruthersville, Mo., and Benny Moss and wife, Dwain, of Kennett; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and J.W. Moss and two sisters, Jewel Roberts and Delsia Mathenia.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Tuesday, April 24, at Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Spencer Furby officiating.

Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Steele.

Pallbearers were Lynn, Greg, Cody and Caleb Moss and Mitchell and Colin Costephens.

Honorary pallbearer was Casey Moss.
