Richard Burnett

Richard Curtis Burnett, 54,of Parma, Mo., died Thursday, April 10, 2007, at his residence.

Born June 5, 1952, in Malden, Mo., son of the late J.T. Burnett, Sr., and Syble Hoggard Burnett, he was a farmer and a member of the United Methodist Church in Malden.

On Dec. 19, 1992, in Malden, he married Anita Brown, who survives of the home.

Survivors also include four sisters, Mary Ann Marshall and husband, Ed, of Gladewater, Texas, Martha Burnett, of St. Louis, Mo., Beulah Lottes, of Salisbury, N.C., and Pat Larson, of Imperial, Mo.; one brother, John Burnett and wife, Robbie, of Campbell, Mo., and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, J.T. Burnett, Jr., and one sister, Louise Burnett.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 21, at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 21, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bob McNabb and Bill Hampton officiating.

Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.

Memorials may be made to Malden United Methodist Church or Ben Kruse 18 Fore Life Charity Foundation.
