Cheryl Damron, 59, of Kennett, formerly of Lubbock, Texas, died Tuesday, April 17, 2007, at Kennett.

Born Feb. 16, 1948, in Pecos, Texas, she was the daughter of Beryl Roberts Cowan Billieter and the late James Harry Cowan.

On June 16, 1967, she married Michael Damron, who preceded her in death on March 13, 1993.

Survivors include two sons, Michael and Justin Damron, of Lubbock; one daughter, Dr. Amy Lockhert, of Kennett; three sisters, Michelle Hoefs, of Houston, Texas, Elizabeth Pirddy, of Denver, Colo., and Rachel Tarrin, of Pecos; her mother, Beryl Cowan Billieter, of Pecos and seven grandchildren.

Memorial services were held at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Ed Jansson officiating.
