Wilma Brewer

Wilma Lorene Brewer, 79, of Bloomfield, Mo., formerly of Pemiscot County, Mo., died Thursday, April 12, 2007, at Bloomfield.

Born Dec. 21, 1927, in Savannah, Tenn., daughter of the late Bartly and Gradie Clay Brewer, she was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include three children, David McClain, of Hayti, Mo., Linda F. Garner and husband, Burl, of Dexter, Mo., and A.J. McClain, of Fisk, Mo.; one step-son, Bob Garner and wife, Monica, of Modesto, Calif.; four sisters, Mary Green, Robbie Gunnells, and Betty Layman and husband, Bill, all of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Sue Farmer, of Ft. Worth, Texas; one brother, Gene Brewer and wife, Sue Helen, of St. Louis, Mo.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Helen Sue and Robbie Lee McClain and three brothers, Jesse, Ivy and Thomas Brewer.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 15, at the John W. German Funeral Home in Hayti with Bro. Doug Wahls officiating.

Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti.

Pallbearers were family members.
