Herbert Malin

Herbert Truman Malin, 92, of Campbell, Mo., died Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell.

Born April 13, 1914, in Nimmons, Ark., son of the late William Walter and Margaret Elmeda Crawford Malin, he was a farmer and a member of the Whiteaker General Baptist Church.

On July 12, 1931, in Piggott, Ark., he married Althea May McElyea, who preceded him in death on Feb. 21, 2004. He was also preceded in death by four sisters, Violet Malin, Beulah Harper, Mary Parrent and Ruth Allen and six brothers, Clinton, Odis, Warren, William Onie, John and Elbert Malin.

Survivors include one son, Gerald Ray Malin and wife, Aletha, of Campbell; one grandson, Gerald Ray Malin, Jr., of Campbell; two great-grandchildren, Amber and Zachary Malin, both of Campbell; six nieces and nine nephews.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Thursday, April 12, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Campbell with the Rev. Darren Baker officiating.

Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery-Landess Addition at Campbell
