Don Travis Hill, 79, of Kennett, formerly of Rector, Ark., died Sunday, April 8, 2007, at National HealthCare in Kennett.

Born Feb. 23, 1928, in Rector, son of the late Hugh Hill and Mae Grogan, he was employed at the St. Louis Post and was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints.

Survivors include one daughter, Donna Johnstone; one brother, J.B. Hill, of Searcy, Ark.; one sister, Wilma Houston, of Kennett and four grandchildren, Cody, Amy, Megan and Nichole.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Delbert, Denzil and Avery Hill and three sisters, Floy, Ann and Avis.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 12, at the Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with David Floyd officiating.

Burial will follow in the Woodland Heights at Rector.
