Ernest Clarence Lacey, 79, of Hayti, Mo., died Monday, April 2, 2007, at his residence.

Born May 27, 1927, in Alsford, Nova Scotia, Canada, son of the late Clarence Edward and Naomi Taylor Lacey, he was an electrician and Jehovah Witness.

He married Millicent E. Hogan in Sue Saint Marie, Ontario, Canada, who survives.

Survivors also include three children, Bradford and Steven Lacey, both of Canada and Cherlyn Lane and husband, Frankie, of Hayti and numerous grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Daniel and Calvin Lacey; one daughter, Brenda Lacey and one grandson, Brian Lacey.

Memorial services were held at 3 p.m., Saturday, April 7, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses with Frankie Lane officiating.
