Born July 14, 1938, in Morrilton, Ark., daughter of the late Noah Lawrence and Letha Mae Morgan Sharp, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wardell, Mo.
On Nov. 13, 1951, in Piggott, Ark., she married James William Rudd, who preceded her in death on Feb. 28, 2005. She was also preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Lee Rudd; one brother, William Sharp and two great-grandsons, Chase Rudd and Christopher Rudd.
Survivors include six sons, David Rudd and wife, Shirley, of Gideon, Mo., Ronnie Rudd and wife, Ennie, of Dyersburg, Tenn., Terry Rudd and Kenny Rudd and wife, Stephanie, all of Wardell and Paul and Robert Rudd, both of Hayti; four daughters, Maxine Jones and husband, Danny, of Morrilton, Janie Chastain and husband, Ken and Virginia McCormick and husband, Tim, all of Hayti and Letha Stricklin and husband, Dean, of Portageville, Mo.; four brothers, Paul, David, Charles and Leonard Sharp, all of Morrilton; two sisters, Sue Head, of Forgan, Okla., and Margaret Russell, of Shattuck, Okla.; 20 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, April 8, at the John W. German Funeral Home in Hayti.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, April 9, at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with Bro. Griff Walker officiating.
Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti.
Pallbearers will be her sons, David, Ronnie, Terry, Kenny, Paul and Robert Rudd.
