J.B. Robertson, 79, of Kennett, formerly of Holcomb, Mo., died Monday, April 2, 2007, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born Aug. 5, 1927, in Holcomb, son of the late John Augustus and Lillian Pritchard Robertson, he was a U.S. Army veteran and manager of a cotton gin.

On April 29, 1949, he married Helen Adams, who survives of the home.

Survivors also include two sons, John Robertson and wife, Jan, of Kennett and Jeff Robertson and wife, Sheila, of Birmingham, Ala.; one brother, N.L. Robertson, of Dallas, Texas and two grandchildren, Jill and Jonna Robertson.

He was preceded in death by five brothers, Loyd, John A., Hal and two in infancy and one sister, Gussie Cox.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., today, Wednesday, April 4, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, April 5, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Dale Rickman and Harold Dunbar officiating.

Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers are Lanny Watson, Terry Fuller, Patrick McHaney, Scotty Morgan and Kevin and Keith Nash.

,Honorary pallbearers are Henry Broglin, Omar Gaskins, Howard Bradshaw, Bob Winston, W.H. Dub Houston, Don Watson, Pete Cross, Bill Cross, James Miller, Flake McHaney, Don "Corky" Luther, Ferd Blanton, Robert Caneer, John L. Edmonston, Brady Robinson and Joe Pelts.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or Varner River Baptist Church.
