Tessie Ann Wortman, 64, of Kennett, died Friday, March 30, 2007, at Three Rivers Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Born March 31, 1942, in Bragg City, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Arvil Clarence and Mae Ward McClain.

On April 12, 1969, she married Elmer Wortman, who survives of the home.

Survivors also include one son, Warner Alan Wortman, of Paragould, Ark.; two brothers, Darrell McClain, of Akin, S.C., and Larry McClain, of Erin, Tenn., and four sisters, Lavern Roberson, Maxine Crews and Clara Fletcher, all of Kokomo, Ind., and Glenda Long, of Kennett.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Lee Wortman and four brothers, Kermit, Farrell, Ervin and Alvin McClain.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, April 2, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.

Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers were Gary Singleton, Sr., Gary Singleton, Jr., Earl Long, Chris Morgan, Allen Cruise and Rick Walker.
