Jim Henry Stark, 65, of Kennett, Mo., died at his son's residence at Holcomb on Thursday, March 29, 2007.

Born Oct. 1, 1941, at Poplar Bluff, Mo., he was the son of the late Charles Henry and Carnie Lou Dark Stark. He was a farm laborer.

Others who preceded him in death include two daughters, Melissa and Terra Stark; and two brothers, Tom and JC Stark.

He is survived by two sons, Jimmy Stark of Holcomb and Curtis Stark of Kennett; one brother, Tim Stark of Aurora, Mo.; one sister, Joyce Brown of Lutesville, Mo.; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation was from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2007, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home at Kennett.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today, Sunday, April 1, 2007, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home at Kennett with Pastor Charles James officiating.

Burial will follow at the McCullery Cemetery, near Varner River Baptist Church, at Kennett.

The family requests that memorials be made to VNA Hospices.
