Marvin Leon Pyles, 81, of Qulin, Mo., died Monday, March 26, 2007, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
Born Jan. 7, 1926, in Campbell, Mo., son of the late Clarence and Ella Ethel Malin Pyles, he was a roadgrader operator for Butler County and a member of the Oglesville General Baptist Church.
On Jan. 18, 1958, in Oglesville, Mo., he married Claudia Higgins, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include two sons, Marvin Leon Pyles, Jr., and wife, Mary, of Jackson, Mo., and Steve Andrew Pyles and wife, Bonnie, of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Earlene King.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Tuesday, March 27, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 28, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Fred Applegate officiating.
Burial will follow in the Qulin Cemetery.
