Philip Benjamin Bridgeman, 76, of Piggott, Ark., died Sunday, March 18, 2007, at Piggott Community Hospital.

Born to the late John and Iva Biggs Bridgeman, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran, a member of the VFW and American Legion and of the Southern Baptist faith. He owned and operated a pecan orchard and worked for Emerson Electric in Kennett.

On June 21, 1963, he married Mary Lou Norton, who survives of the home.

Survivors also include three daughters, Karen McMahon and husband, Bobby, of Kennett, Phyllis Tanner and Janette Dunlap and husband, Randy, all of Piggott and six grandchildren, Courtney McMahon, Keegan, Brantley and Mary Dunlap and Clay and Cole Tanner.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, L.J. and Paul Bridgeman.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Tuesday, March 20, at the Irby Funeral Home in Piggott.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 21, at the Irby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kevin Murphy officiating.

Burial will follow in the Piggott Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Roger Morris, Brock Swann, Kent and Joel Coomer, Kevin Jones and Brad Montgomery.

Honorary pallbearers are Dustin Patterson, George and Pete Norton, Matt Sutfin and Gary Blaylock.
