Dona Berneda Smith, 83, of Pocahontas, Ark., died Friday, March 16, 2007, at Randolph Home in Pocahontas.
She was a member of Shannon Baptist Church and active in the Southern Baptist Women's Missionary Union.
Survivors include three sons, Herschel Smith and wife, Fran, of Gwinn, Mich., Philip Smith and wife, Linda, of Pocahontas and Mark Smith and wife, Trina, of Jonesboro; two daughters, Rebecca Parish and husband, Anthanee, of San Antonio, Texas and Vicki Bell and husband, Mark, of Taylorsville, Ky.; three brothers, Austin Croom, of Jonesboro, Ark., Delbert Croom, of Rockford, Ill., and Tommy Croom, of St. Louis, Mo.; 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jean J.C. Smith; four brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Tuesday, March 20, at the Hardy First Baptist Church in Hardy, Ark. with Bro. Farrell Duffell and Bro. Ron Berry officiating.
Burial was in the Baker Cemetery in Ozark Acres.
Memorials may be made to the Baker Cemetery Fund.
Heath Funeral Home of Hardy was in charge of arrangements.
