Born Feb. 20, 1921, in Rives, Mo., son of the late John and Ethel Goza Hargrove, he was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in WWII. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service.
On Aug. 31, 1946, in Kennett, he married Earline Dunlap, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include two sons, Jerry Hargrove and wife, Linda, of Kennett and Jimmy Russell, of Rogers, Ark.; one daughter, Judy Jett and husband, Thomas, of Bartlett, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m., Saturday, March 17, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 17, in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett with the Rev. Chris Maynard officiating.
Pallbearers are James, Paul and Scott Pitts, David Hargrove, Mark Sherrell and Doug Washburn.
