Thomas Kinnard, 85, of Kennett, died Sunday, March 11, 2007, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.

Born Aug. 16, 1921, in Sulphur Rock, Ark., son of the late Everett and Cora Mason Kinnard, he was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in WWII. He was retired from the Firestone Rubber Factory.

On Aug. 3, 1946, in Piggott, Ark., he married Martha Fern Kirkpatrick, who preceded him in death on Jan. 28, 2007. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, O.L., Roe and Junior Kinnard; one sister, Iona Kinnard and one granddaughter, Jamie Hall.

Survivors include one son, Thomas Kinnard and wife, Diane, of Yuma, Ariz.; two daughters, Diana Hall and husband, Jeff, of Cicero, Ind., and Anna "Vece" Macias, of Kennett; one sister, Mildred Burrow, of Malden, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandhildren.

Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, March 16, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 16, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chris Maynard officiating.

Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers are Russ Kinnard, Scot Kinnard, Darren Tudor, Devin Tudor, Travis Montz and Dustin Montz.

Memorials may be made to the Friendship Baptist Church, 21225 State Highway EE, Kennett, Mo. 63857.
