Gloria Jean Samford, 49, of Leachville, Ark., died Monday, March 12, 2007, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.

Born June 22, 1957, in Victoria, Ark., daughter of Velma Foster Stone and the late David, she was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Samford, of Steele, Mo.; one son, Jerry pemberton, of Blytheville, Ark.; one daughter, LeAnne Galloway, of Rector, Ark.; her mother, Velma Foster Stone; one sister, Janet Skaggs, of Manila, Ark., and three grandsons.

She was preceded in death by one brother, David Stone.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m., today, Thursday, March 14, at the First United Methodist Church in Manila with the Rev. Stephen Waggoner officiating.

Burial was in the Manila Cemetery.

Faith Funeral Service of Manila was in charge of arrangements.
