Born Nov. 10, 1919, in Remal, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Edward and Josephine Mertz Amick.
In 1932, in Kennett, she married James Pruett, who preceded her in death. She later married Pete Frederick.
Survivors include two sons, Paul Pruett and wife, Ceicle, of Hardy, Ark., and James Pruett and wife, Patty, of Rector, Ark.; two daughters, Conchita Carpenter, of Paducah, Ky., and Betty Brown and husband, Jim, of Paragould; one brother, Edward Amick and wife, Rose, of Arizona; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Flechell.
Graveside services were held at 1 p.m., today, Wednesday, March 14, in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett with the Rev. Nathan Prim officiating.
Family members served as pallbearers.
McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett was in charge of arrangements.
