Betty Duggan

Betty Sue Duggan, 58, of Campbell, Mo., died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007, at her residence.

Born May 29, 1948, in Senath, Mo., daughter of Hazel Evelyna Long Kirkman and the late Avion Henry Huckleberry, she was a homemaker.

On June 4, 1971, in Seattle, Wash., she married Paul Duggan, who preceded her in death on Jan. 12, 1985.

Survivors include two daughters, Kathy League, of Fernley, Nev., and Mary Ellen Hawken, of Irvine, Calif.; three sons, David Nunnery, of Juneau, Alaska, Bernard Duggan, of Fayetteville, N.C., and Paul Duggan, stationed in Iraq; her mother, Hazel Long Kirkman; one brother, Rick Huckleberry, of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; one sister, Wanda Maddox, of Phoenix, Ariz., and five grandchildren, Shawna, Rebecca, Christina, Kevin and Melissa.

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m., Monday, March 5, in the Riverside National Veterans Cemetery at Riverside, Calif.

Landess Funeral Home of Campbell and Shannon-Bryan Mortuary of Orange, Calif., was in charge of arrangements.
