Betty Louise Austin, 67, of Kennett, formerly of Risco, Mo., died Friday, March 2, 2007, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical in Kennett.

Born Feb. 17, 1940, in Gobler, Mo., daughter of the late Johnnie and Lillie Brand Coffer, she was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Malden, Mo.

Survivors include one son, Jason Wendell Austin, of Kennett; three brothers, Floyd Coffer, of Kennett, G.H. Coffer, of Houston, Texas and Jimmy Dale Coffer, of Little Rock, Ark., and one sister, Para White-Reynolds, of Paragould, Ark.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Joe Coffer and one sister, Charlene Soloman.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, March 5, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Reverend L. Young officiating.

Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers were Clyde Handley, Jimmy Coffer, Jr., Tommy Thompson, Chuck White, Jon Soloman, Steve Coffer and Lance Coffer.
